4) I-20 form
The I-20 form is a crucial document that international students must present when applying for a student visa. The I-20 contains important information such as the student's enrollment status, academic program, institution name and financial details.
5) Proof of finances
International students will also need to present proof of finances (bank statements, investment accounts or tax records) to immigration officers at the US Consulate or Embassy. This is because students need to demonstrate that they have the financial means to cover all their expenses during their time in the States without relying on government support.
